Very nice Glenn. Carl was such a humble person. I think we are all better people for having known him. I will forever remember his smile and kind words for all. He was an inspirational person. Truly a great man with a warm/kind heart.

Carl was my brother in law, and I thank you for painting such a beautiful picture of him. He was and will always be one of the most amazing and wonderful men I will ever know. I am going to miss him terribly. Thank you.

Glenn…It is so good to read your basketball prose about “The Greatest Stage”. I have missed it. Your insightful and well-phrased writing congers up memories of years gone by…when the people we knew in the NBA were “real people”, ones we knew well and enjoyed (for the most part!) being around. Great writing, Glenn…and thanks for the memories. Please continue to blog about the NBA. With the exception of a few playoff games (including all The Finals), my NBA experiences in the past few years have been trying to remember to view Charles Barkley on the TNT post-game show.

Great article.. I am proud of my little sister. I play for my Marine base team and she doesn’t know it but she pushes me everyday to get better. I guess you can say I look up to my little big sister.
